Spinning Workshop 3 hours: €85 p.p

(It is possible to book this workshop for more than one person. Maximum of 2 people per workshop.)
Learn the basics of wool spinning in 3 hours! Have you always wanted to learn how to spin, but don’t know where to start? Then book a workshop. In this workshop you will learn to spin your own little ball of wool.
- In this workshop I will tell you more about wool as an ancient craft.
- I’m going to show you how to card wool in 2 ways.
- You will learn how the pedaling works with the spinning wheel and finally we are going to try it in combination with your hands and the wool (now you are spinning!).
- I will show you how wool plying works.
It will take a lot of practice so it won’t be easy at first, but I’m going to guide you properly so you can continue working at home. At the end of the lesson you will have your own hand spun ball of wool!
Do you have a spinning wheel at home? Then you can bring it but you don’t have to! Coffee and tea included.
Private workshops will only be given on Tuesdays or Thursdays, but if you are unable to attend on these days, please let me know and we will find a solution together.
